Official GTA 6 edition listings name the Girardi ES9, Klose K17 and Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers. They do not reveal the complete arsenal. The safest weapons reference separates those published names from guns recognized in footage and from preview reports about what Jason and Lucia can carry.
Weapons explicitly named in official product information
| Name | Verified context |
|---|---|
| Girardi ES9 | Jason’s pistol; a personalized variant appears in the Ultimate listing. |
| Klose K17 | Lucia’s pistol; a personalized variant appears in the Ultimate listing. |
| Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers | Named among Ultimate’s included items. |
The official Xbox Ultimate Edition description supplies those names and their edition context. Rockstar’s edition presentation also names the revolvers and personalized weapon variants. This establishes a small, sourced list—not a claim that these are the only firearms in the game.
Edition context matters. A personalized variant is not evidence that every version of the underlying weapon is exclusive to that edition. Nor does an included weapon description tell us its damage, reload speed, ammunition price or exact unlock point.

Why visible guns do not always get a model name here
A trailer can establish that a character holds a handgun or a long gun. Assigning a precise in-game name needs more: an official label, readable interface text or another reliable identification. Real-world resemblance alone can be misleading when a fictional game changes a design or combines features.
That is why this guide does not turn every frame into a confident catalogue of rifles, shotguns and attachments. The image can still be useful evidence of a scene without supporting every detail someone might infer from it.
Carrying limits are reported, not our own hands-on result
Flow Games’ preview describes carrying two handguns and two long guns, with a personal vehicle trunk used for storage. That is attributed development reporting. GTA6State has not independently tested the final inventory rules or their exceptions.
A carrying rule is also different from an ownership limit. How many weapons a player can equip at a moment does not tell us how many can be obtained across the campaign. Avoid reading a preview number as a total arsenal count.
The existing weapon-carrying report covers that discussion. Our broader gameplay guide puts it beside the other preview systems.
A visible weapon is not just a loadout choice
Dazed’s reporting describes a more reactive world in which walking around with a rifle draws a response. That is context for how weapons fit into ordinary movement through the city; it is not a verified formula for when a wanted level begins.
As analysis, the distinction encourages a more useful question than “which gun is strongest?”: what does carrying or displaying it change about the situation? The answer will ultimately depend on the finished systems, including visibility, reactions and escape conditions.
For the sourced policing discussion, read how GTA 6’s police are reported to respond. The money-system guide separately addresses what is known about the economy without inventing ammunition costs.
What a complete weapons database still needs
- The full set of in-game weapon names and categories.
- Reliable acquisition or unlock requirements.
- Tested damage, recoil, reload and handling behavior.
- Verified attachment and customization options.
- Actual prices and ammunition rules.
Those are update targets, not blank spaces to fill with estimates from GTA V. An older game’s weapon balance does not automatically carry over. A meaningful “best weapons” recommendation also needs a use case and testing, neither of which an edition listing can provide.
Quick questions
Is this the complete GTA 6 weapon list?
No. It is a reference to the names verified in the sources above, alongside clearly attributed carrying reports.
Does Ultimate’s wording prove the base pistols are unavailable in Standard?
No. A listing for personalized variants does not establish that conclusion.
Are weapon prices or damage values confirmed here?
No. We do not publish invented statistics or a speculative tier list.
For the actual premium content list, use the edition comparison. For equipment connected to vehicles, start with the vehicle database, not a guessed weapon unlock route.
