The announced launch platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Series S is included. Rockstar has not announced a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version.

Rockstar has not announced a PC version, a Steam release or a PC launch date. Reports about a possible PC release remain unconfirmed; the console release date does not apply to PC.

The US list prices are $79.99 for Standard Edition and $99.99 for Ultimate Edition. Check your local PlayStation or Xbox store for pricing in your currency and any applicable taxes.

Standard includes the base game. Ultimate adds story bonuses such as vehicles, weapons, clothing and access to additional businesses and activities. Its extras include the ’95 Grotti Cheetah and Shitzu Squalo, with items becoming available as the story progresses.

Yes. Standard Edition owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately through their console store. If you buy a boxed copy, redeem its game code before upgrading.

Preorders are open. Digital purchases before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. The pack contains a ’55 Vapid Stanier, a garage, clothing, hairstyles and a weapon pattern.

No. Rockstar says the boxed Standard Edition contains a digital download code and no disc. A boxed Ultimate Edition has not been announced. Retail shipping and pickup are expected to start on November 12, 2026.

Preloading starts at local midnight on November 12, 2026. It lets you download the game ahead of the November 19 launch. Neither announced edition includes early access to play; the seven-day preload is a download window.

The digital preorder offer must be claimed through your platform. On PlayStation, eligible buyers have until March 31, 2027. Xbox lists a 180-day redemption window from the preorder date. Eligibility varies by region and account. Check the renewal terms before claiming; PlayStation’s offer becomes a paid monthly subscription unless cancelled.

Rockstar’s synopsis follows Jason and Lucia after a job goes wrong. They are pulled into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida and have to depend on each other to survive. The full plot and ending have not been revealed.

Rockstar has revealed several destinations, but has not published a complete map with an official area measurement. Fan reconstructions can help place landmarks; their boundaries and size comparisons are estimates, rather than a finished map from Rockstar.
