Biography
Lucia Caminos is the first playable protagonist in the series' history who isn't a man, and Rockstar built her backstory to earn that distinction rather than just claim it. Her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk, and life's been coming at her swinging ever since, which is about as efficient a summary of a childhood as you'll get from an official character bio.
Liberty City, then Leonida Penitentiary
She grew up in Liberty City with her mother, and whatever happened between that childhood and her arrival in Leonida involved fighting for her family hard enough to land her in Leonida Penitentiary. She served her time under the eye of correctional counselor Stefanie, and she's out now with a line Rockstar apparently wanted people to remember: she's learned her lesson, only smart moves from here.
What she actually wants
The goal isn't complicated. Lucia wants the better life her mother spent years dreaming about back in Liberty City, the kind of life that was never actually available to either of them. What separates her from just wanting it is that she's planning for it, no matter what it takes, rather than waiting for it to show up.
Jason, and the jobs
Jason Duval is her partner in that plan, for better or worse, and together they've been shown running pickups for Boobie Ike, robbing stores, doing getaways with Raul Bautista, and working corporate security for Andres de Leon at a Megamundo event that stops being a simple job fast. Petra Navarro, Megamundo's COO, factors into that same sequence.
Where she operates from
Lucia's got safehouses at the Starlet Motel and out in the Leonida Keys, home base for whatever's coming next.
What's still unconfirmed
Fans have pointed to Manni L. Perez as her likely voice actress based on resemblance, but Rockstar hasn't confirmed a cast, so that's speculation, not a fact yet.
