Rockstar and official storefronts currently name four GTA 6 road vehicles in the evidence reviewed here: the '55 Vapid Stanier, '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, '95 Grotti Cheetah and Vapid Ganado. Many other vehicles are plainly visible, but most familiar model names attached to them remain reported community identifications rather than official labels.
Officially named GTA 6 cars and road vehicles
| Model | Official context |
|---|---|
| '55 Vapid Stanier | Named in the Vintage Vice City Pack. |
| '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy | Named among Ultimate Edition benefits. |
| '95 Grotti Cheetah | Named among Ultimate Edition benefits. |
| Vapid Ganado | Named as the Ganado Retro Build in official edition material. |
The official Vintage Vice City Pack listing names the Stanier. Rockstar's edition presentation and the official Xbox Ultimate listing name the other premium vehicles. Their product context matters: confirmation of a model and benefit does not establish when every player can obtain it, its price in story mode or its performance statistics.

Reported sightings in the current vehicle database
The following road-vehicle records are marked Reported, not official, in the current GTA 6 vehicle database:
- Bravado Gauntlet Classic Custom and Annis Hellion.
- Bravado Banshee, Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire and Bravado Buffalo.
- Vapid Caracara 4x4 and Declasse Tulip.
- Maibatsu Penumbra, Dinka Blista Compact and Dinka Sugoi.
- Declasse Walton L35, Declasse Yosemite 1500 and Declasse Vigero ZX Convertible.
Those identifications may be well reasoned, but resemblance to a vehicle from GTA Online is not the same as a label from Rockstar. Bodywork can be revised, reused or combined. Rockstar's screenshot library is the original visual source; the names above should remain attributed and revisable until official UI, captions or product copy confirms them.
Why this page is narrower than the vehicle database
The database also contains motorcycles, boats, aircraft, a kayak and the officially visible airboat. They belong in a complete vehicle index but not in a focused answer about cars. Keeping the pages separate lets this guide explain certainty while the database supports browsing by individual vehicle.
What the preview says about stealing and owning cars
IGN's firsthand demonstration report describes security tiers, a phone app used to scan parked vehicles, entry tools for different cars, registration costs, personal vehicles and car fences. That reporting concerns systems, not model confirmation. A scanner reportedly recognizing a car in a demonstration does not retroactively validate every fan identification in a trailer.
The broader gameplay guide covers those mechanics in context, while the money-system guide addresses reported resale and cash rules without inventing car values.
What a final car list still needs
- An official complete model roster.
- Verified acquisition and edition rules for each vehicle.
- Tested handling, speed, damage and customization data.
- Clear distinction between traffic vehicles, personal vehicles and cars that can be retained.
Questions readers ask
Is every car in this article officially confirmed by name?
No. The first table is officially named; the sightings list is explicitly Reported.
Does a car returning from GTA Online prove its GTA 6 name?
No. A visual match can support a reported identification, but Rockstar naming or clear in-game evidence is stronger.
Where are the bikes, boats and aircraft?
Use the vehicle database to browse motorcycles, boats, aircraft and other transport alongside the road vehicles covered here.
