Launch-alert subscriptions

When you choose to subscribe, GTA6State stores your normalized email address, subscription status, signup source, consent record, consent-text version and record timestamps. Subscriber records are available only to authenticated CMS administrators; they are not publicly readable, editable or deletable.

This information is used only for important GTA 6 preload, launch-time and major update alerts. Outbound email delivery is not active until GTA6State configures an email-delivery provider. We do not claim that stored subscriptions are currently being sent.

Launch checklist

Checklist progress is stored under a versioned key in your browser’s local storage. It contains only checklist item identifiers, never an email address or other personal information. Resetting the checklist removes that local record.

Analytics

GTA6State uses its existing Google Analytics configuration to measure page and feature usage. Launch events contain only non-personal values such as a tool name, checklist item identifier or completion percentage. Email addresses, names, form contents, authentication tokens and other personal data are never attached to these events.

Security and anti-abuse controls

Subscription requests are validated on the server, protected by a honeypot and rate limited using a one-way keyed digest of the edge-provided network address. Raw email addresses and raw network addresses are not written to application analytics or subscription logs.
