Rockstar has confirmed six featured destinations across GTA 6's state of Leonida: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. The official Leonida showcase names all six, but it is not a finished road map. It does not publish coordinates, county lines, travel times or every settlement between them.
That distinction makes this a place inventory rather than a fan-drawn outline. Use the location database for individual profiles, and the two map-specific guides for Vice City and map size.
The confirmed Leonida location roster
| Official destination | What Rockstar establishes |
|---|---|
| Vice City | Leonida’s central metropolis, with beaches, neighborhoods, nightlife, art and a working port. |
| Leonida Keys | A chain of tropical islands and waterfront communities tied to Jason’s work for local drug runners. |
| Grassrivers | A wetland region of mangrove channels, airboats, alligators and human activity on the water. |
| Port Gellhorn | A faded coastal vacation town with motels, shopping strips, shuttered attractions and residential streets. |
| Ambrosia | An inland industrial community shaped by the Allied Crystal sugar refinery and local biker influence. |
| Mount Kalaga National Park | Northern wilderness with wooded ridges, waterways, hunting, fishing and off-road trails. |
These are featured destinations, not necessarily the only names that will appear in the game. A district, landmark or neighborhood can sit inside a larger destination without becoming a seventh state-level region. Conversely, a name visible on a sign is not automatically a city.

What the source geography tells us
Dazed’s interviews with Rockstar describe research in Miami and the surrounding area, while identifying Vice City as the heart of Leonida. The reporting moves from islands and wetlands to inland industry and northern mountain country. That supports a Florida-inspired range of environments; it does not make Leonida a road-for-road copy of Florida.
The variety matters more than a speculative compass pin. The Keys are defined by bridges, boats and island communities. Grassrivers is organized around shallow waterways and wetland travel. Ambrosia’s refinery and farmland create an industrial interior. Mount Kalaga changes the skyline and terrain again at Leonida’s northern border.
Confirmed names are not confirmed coordinates
Promotional screenshots can establish that a place exists and show its atmosphere. They cannot prove the shortest drive between two regions, the exact shoreline, or whether a road remains open throughout the story. A distant Vice City skyline in a wetland image is useful context, but it is not a scale bar.
The Leonida Atlas is a community reconstruction for comparing sourced places. It is not Rockstar’s official map, and its placement should not be used as proof of road connections, district borders or travel measurements. That caveat also applies to every other fan map until Rockstar publishes a definitive reference.
What a complete GTA 6 map still needs
- An official full-state outline or in-game map capture with readable boundaries.
- Verified roads, bridges and routes connecting the six featured destinations.
- The names and status of additional towns, neighborhoods and landmarks.
- Evidence showing which areas are immediately accessible and which depend on story progress.
- A defined measurement method if Rockstar or a reliable test later gives an area figure.
Until those pieces exist, the defensible map is a roster of sourced destinations, not a traced silhouette filled with invented detail.
