Brian Heder

Brian Heder is a drug runner whose boatyard anchors part of GTA 6's criminal world in the Leonida Keys. He works with his third wife, Lori, and provides Jason Duval with housing in exchange for help.

A smuggler with a comfortable life

Brian comes from an earlier era of smuggling in the Keys. He still moves drugs through the yard, but he now relies on others for much of the dangerous work. Jason is one of the people who benefits from that arrangement and owes him something in return.

Brian's relaxed exterior masks a formidable smuggler. He boasts about flying marijuana and enjoys sunset Mudslides.

The boatyard and Jason's home

The home is rent-free on the condition that Jason handles local shakedowns and stops by to see Brian and Lori. Cal Hampton, Jason's friend, is another Brian associate. These connections make Brian part landlord, part criminal contact and part of Jason's social life.

Footage analyst Jordan Oloman identified the wording Brian's Boat Works & Marina on Jason's cap. It is a useful name to associate with the yard, though the lettering alone does not explain the business's full operation.

The meeting with Jason and Lucia

In An Extended Look, Brian and Lori meet Jason and Lucia at a rooftop bar. They are concerned about what the couple have become involved in, and Brian helps arrange an introduction to a former cellmate.

During the evening, a job comes through that requires just one of the protagonists. Brian later uses a story about a fatal childhood fairground accident to urge Jason to recognize when a dangerous situation has gone too far. He names the victim Jimmy Canto.

His warning gives the scene a personal stake alongside the business discussion. Brian can provide contacts and a place to live, while the terms of that help keep him involved in Jason's decisions.

Brian's official biography does not name his performer or give the details of his earlier imprisonment.
