Bayside in GTA 6

Bayside is described as a Vice City neighborhood in coverage of GTA 6's Extended Look. SVG identifies it through Lucia's dialogue after a getaway. The official footage lets you examine that return sequence, but the frames checked here do not supply the neighborhood's boundaries or a street-by-street location.

The scene that introduces Bayside

Rockstar released An Extended Look on August 27, 2026, describing the footage as captured in game on PlayStation 5. Use the checkpoints below in Rockstar's downloadable 26:48 version to examine the sequence for yourself.

• 16:45: the group beside the van. Jason, Lucia and a third character are beside the rear of a van in a passage next to a purple-tiled facade. Storefronts are visible across the road, including a Josefina sign.
• 17:00: Jason and Lucia by the same facade. The closer view provides another visual reference for the sequence. Neither of these two frames displays a Bayside place label.

The name is a separate piece of evidence: SVG's report identifies the return to Bayside through Lucia's dialogue after the escape and change of vehicle. This profile keeps that identification attributed to the reporting; the visual checkpoints above are not a transcript or a confirmed map pin.

What the footage establishes / What remains unknown

• Visible in the checked frames: the characters, van, passage, purple-tiled facade and nearby storefronts. These details let you recognize the scene without relying on an unattributed fan image.
• Reported identification: Bayside as the Vice City neighborhood referenced in the return sequence. The page retains its Reported status rather than upgrading the name or its surroundings to officially mapped information.
• Still unknown: exact boundaries, a reliable route through named streets, which nearby buildings belong to the district, and how it connects to other Vice City neighborhoods.

The montage needs to be read carefully

GamesRadar's live coverage places the return to Bayside just before a montage of downtime, including workouts, basketball, jet skis, kayaking, racing and a swamp boat trip.

The edit moves from an escape into life outside missions. It does not place every activity inside the neighborhood. Treating the whole montage as a Bayside facilities list would incorrectly pull scenes from the wider world into a single district.

Is this the Bayside from GTA: San Andreas?

Bayside also appears on the original Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas map, reproduced by iGrandTheftAuto. A shared name alone does not establish that it is the same place as the Bayside discussed here, or that the two have a narrative connection.

Finding Bayside on the wider map

The Vice City guide provides the surrounding city context. There is no reliable street-by-street route to Bayside yet, and a fan comparison between an apartment exterior and a Miami building is insufficient to locate the character's home here.

For the official presentation and the distinction between footage and preview reports, continue with our Extended Look guide. The separate Extended Look breakdown covers the broader preview details. The Atlas linked below offers wider Leonida context; it should not be read as a confirmed outline of Bayside.
