The atlas combines clearly attributed community cartography with references to official GTA 6 material.
GTADB community data
GTA VI Landmarks Data and GTA VI Map Tiles (CC BY 4.0) — GTADB / Map GTA. Community map artwork: Yanis v16, distributed through GTADB.
Generalized base geography is derived from the GTADB Yanis v16 raster tiles, pinned to commit7c3f8c2. Point evidence uses the landmark dataset from the same pinned source: 2,198 records, including 2,091 positioned records and 107 records without coordinates.
Source: GTADB map data at the pinned commit. These source-derived cartographic layers are used underCreative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
Our presentation recolors and generalizes the source pixels, excludes non-geographic legend and screenshot areas, and adds decorative coast emphasis. The water halo is not bathymetry. Read the complete attribution and generation manifest.
Rockstar Games references
Official Rockstar Games trailers, screenshots and webpages inform appearance and evidence. Media shown in an evidence panel retains its cited source and separate rights status; it is not licensed with the project code or cartographic layer. Grand Theft Auto, GTA, Rockstar Games, their marks and official media belong to their respective rights holders. This independent project is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
Visual direction
A user-provided illustrated map informed the hierarchy, restrained linework and broad color language only. Its coastline, labels and geometry were not reused.
Procedural geometry and generated material or vegetation studies are reconstruction assets, not extracted GTA VI game assets. Their reuse status remains separate from the CC BY 4.0 map data and is part of the source-release preparation.
